Fake News | CEU San Pablo University | Audiovisual Project

During the COVID pandemic, our university tried to have us create audiovisual projects while safe at home, luckily for me, news broke, and a photographer wanted to speak openly about an issue he was facing.

The COVID-pandemic hit, and the far-right wing Spanish VOX party made an untasteful photoshopped image, photoshopping caskets on top of an empty Madrid, so says the original photographer Ignacio Pereira. He has sued the party VOX against not having paid a license on his work or otherwise credited him, and on top of that having changed his work to the point where his work was no longer recognisable what the original intention of said work was. He said however, that he would sue any party that would mess with his work like this, and that it is not a question on any personal political affiliation.

In this work, I have tried to get into a documentary-esque video where journalism, interviewing and understanding the other person is key.
